    29th July 2019: Hello there!

It’s 1.30a.m. My roomie’s alarm is so loud. enough to wake me but not her. I cannot remember the last time I worked overnight since my seminar. I find it very difficult to sleep after a wake, so I let my mind turn the disturbing tune to a lullaby. 1.45a.m. I’ve been dealing with insomnia for a larger part of my years. dragging my laptop, scribbling or trying to meet a deadline is how I make it productive. sometimes, I dance too. Other times, I cook ewa agoyin (shit takes times, so, it’s perfect). On some other days, I unpack my clothes. I begin to fold them, clean everywhere and…

    BE JOYFUL

When I think about how crazy January was, all that comes to mind is Philippians 4:4. It says always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again – rejoice! It is on this note that I say A Happy New Month to y’all. Trust you had an amazing January. I didn’t but like Paul said in Philippians 3:13 forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. The Little Things Are Still Big

Sometimes, when I think about the little things, I do not try to think about how long it took them to happen but how meaningfully well they’ve helped shape my life and build my hope, resilience and resolve to believe fiercely in myself and the ability of life to give me something beyond pains and setbacks. Sometimes, when we think something is too small, it’s not that those things are really too small, it’s because we are so close-minded to see the depth and abilities in small things. I mean, if they are that small, how then were we able to see them? These feels like crap already but it’s…

It’s a wonderful Happy New Year from me to you guys!!! It’s the 5th Day of the first month in the year 2019 and it gives me so much joy knowing that the first blogpost of the year is on one of my favorite things to do – see movies. So, today’s post is not just any movie review but Netflix’s First Original Film from Nigeria, Lion Heart – a Directorial debut of one of Nigeria and Africa’s finest actor, Genevieve Nnaji. Suffice it to say that I’ve been a Genevieve Nnaji fan since Blood Sisters and Sharon Stone days through Letters to A Stranger, Warrior’s Heart, Ije, Tango with…
